First Meeting
of the Fondation des Treilles
May 11 to 20, 2018
The first Treilles meetings took place in Paris, from May 11 to 20, 2018, at the Hôtel de Sauroy, 58 rue Charlot (75003).
The program of these first days testified to the essence of the activities developed by the foundation : the organization of seminars and residential studies devoted to research in all areas of knowledge, actions or meetings for pedagogical purposes, the reception in residence of writers and photographers, the training of young singers in the framework of a Voice Academy or the enhancement of the collection of works of art bequeathed by the founder.
Friday, May 11th
Meetings opening
The opening of the first exhibition of his collection of photographic works took place on that day.
Then, every day, researchers, creators, writers and musicians who had come to the Treilles proposed an event.
Saturday, May 12th
Singing Recital and Theorbo
Presented by Ivan Alexander, director of the Academy of the Voice, and interpreted by Paul-Antoine Benos (counter-tenor, academician) and Thomas Dunford (theorbo).

Monday, May 14th
The Treilles or an architectural utopia
Round table with Maurice Culot, Pierre-Antoine Gatier, Adrien Goetz and Jean-Baptiste Minnaert. On the occasion of this round table, presentation of the book “Modernes Arcadies, Mansions and gardens inspired from the nineteenth-twentieth centuries” published in November 2017 at AAM Editions and from the eponymous seminar that took place in the Treilles in March 2011 .

Presented by Thanh Nghiem, author of the manifesto and founder of the Crazy Toads movement.
