Research workshops
5 to 15 people – 6 days

Each year, the Fondation des Treilles offers French and foreign researchers the opportunity to meet for 6 days in groups of 5 to 15 people to work collectively on various research projects such as finalizing a publication, initiating a research or exhibition project, transdisciplinary initiatives and more.

Stays at the foundation provide all the conditions you need to devote yourself entirely to the project for which you have been selected by the scientific committee.

 YOUR STAY

• Research workshops are scheduled from March to July and from September to November, according to a fixed timetable available on the application form.
• The foundation does not contribute to travel expenses ; however transfers from Les Arcs-Draguignan train station or Nice airport, as well as accommodation and meals, are covered.
• Participants commit to stay for the entire duration of the workshop.
• No later than one month after your meeting, you are required to provide a report on your research, which will be published on the foundation’s research blog.

HOW TO APPLY

• Applicants wishing to organize a research workshop must complete and submit their project using the online application form on the foundation’s website before the submission deadline.
• Applications must include the names of three referees who can recommend your project.
• Each application is examined by the scientific committee which meets twice a year (March and November).
• If it is selected, an application submitted between 15 September and 31 October 2024 will lead to a stay in the 1st half of 2026.
• If it is selected, an application submitted between 1 May and 15 September 2025 will lead to a stay in the 2nd half of 2026.
• The scientific committee’s selection of applications will be notified to the future organizers in June and December 2025.
• Future organizers will be notified in June and December if their projects have been selected by the scientific committee.
