Moviment
On July 12, 2023, the Fondation des Treilles was invited to write the 10th chapter of Moviment organized by the Georges Pompidou Centre. By presenting the activities of the foundation, we recall the common history between the two institutions. It is also an opportunity to present a selection of photographs from the winners of the first 10 years of the Residency Prize for Photography.
1 a.m.-2 p.m.: Prelude
- 11 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: screening of Duvivier’s Woman with 100 Heads
- 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: presentation of the 40 original collages from the 100 Heads Woman
with Anne Montfort, curator at the Center Pompidou.

Inaugural speech by Laurent Le Bon, president of the Georges Pompidou Centre, and Maryvonne de Saint Pulgent, president of the Fondation des Treilles.
2:30 p.m.: Dialogue around Max Ernst’s Capricorn and cross-collections
with Xavier Rey, director of the National Museum of Modern Art and Marie-Paule Vial, in charge of the collections of the Fondation des Treilles.
3:15 p.m.-4 p.m.: Literature at les Treilles, the NRF, literary research and publications
with Robert Kopp, member of the steering committee of the André Gide-Jean Schlumberger centre.
4 p.m.-4:45 p.m.: The Photography Prize
with, for the Photography Prize, Jean-Luc Monterosso, president of the jury, Alain Fleischer, 2021 winner and Dominique Laugé, organizer, and Dimitri Bortnikov, 2020 winner of the 2020 Author’s Residency Prize, author of The Eagle and the Swan (Ed. Odyssey 2023).
5:30 p.m.-6:15 p.m.: Research and seminars
with Frédéric Worms, director of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Jean Clair, of the Académie française, and Laura Bossi, professor emeritus of history of science at Paris-Diderot University.
6:15 p.m.-7:30 p.m.: “The Voice Academy”: annual master class in lyrical singing
with Ivan Alexandre, musicologist, director of the Voice Academy, with screening of films from the 2021 and 2022 master classes.
7:30 p.m.: Screening of the film Les Treilles: walks and conversations with Anne Gruner Schlumberger, by Jean-Claude Bringuier (1980s).
8 p.m.: Cocktail
