Each year, the Fondation des Treilles awards a ‘Young Researcher’ prize to French or foreign PhD students at the end of their thesis carrying out their research in France. This prize is open to all disciplines. Worth 6,000 euros, it is awarded by the scientific committee of the Fondation des Treilles during a ceremony to which laureates commit to attend.
Prize awarding terms and conditions
– Candidates must be under 35 by November 1st, 2024. Candidates born before 1 November 1989 cannot apply.
– Candidates must be registered at a French university or be co-tutored for the 2024-2025 academic year.
– Only doctoral students enrolled in a 3rd, 4th or 5th year of a thesis in Humanities and Social sciences may apply.
– Only PhD students in their 4th year in Matter, Natural and Life Sciences are eligible to apply.
– Candidates must not have defended their thesis by 31 December 2024.

HOW TO APPLY
– Refer to the calls for applications to find out when to apply.
– Complete the following form before midnight on 31 October 2024. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
– Send an application file, as detailed in the terms and conditions, in PDF format only and in a single file to prix.jeune.chercheur@fondationdestreilles.com before midnight on 31 October 2024.
– Applications are examined by the members of the scientific committee in February or March of each year. You will be informed of their decisions by 31 March at the latest.
